Very expressive nose of quince, elderflower blossoms lanolin, wet stone, yellow fruit and clementine mandarin. Offers an intriguing interplay of empyreumatic / reductive notes from soil, variety, fermentation and barrel.
Already focused and refined, with nice phenolic drive and conjuring acidity: lively flavours that echo the nose- stone, yellow fruits, ripe citrus; and a lovely, clean lingering finish. Testament of a special site in a very rewarding vintage.

Quite a hit of reductive, match sticky funk followed by nougat and ciderous apple stuff. Exotic and interesting perfume. Really wild in texture – sort of creamy but with a hit of popping sweet green apple and really tangy acidity. Unctuous, rolling, spicy, wild, sweeter style – what a ride. So delicious.
90+ points- Lisa Perrotti-Brown- WINE ADVOCATE The 2013 Grower’s Collection Moteo Ridge Vineyard Chenin Blanc offers quite a neutral nose at this stage of apple and pear notes with touches of peaches and chalk. Made to a medium style in terms of sweetness (with 17 grams per liter of residual sugar), it is beautifully broad and satiny in the mouth with a nice long yeasty finish.

Bright straw-yellow colour with slight golden hues at heart, pale on rim. The nose is elegant with intense aromas of white stonefruits and subtly rich honeysuckle notes, revealing delicate savoury and flinty detail and a waxiness. The aromatics grow in depth showing fresh cut and youthful floral elements. Off-dry to taste, clear and tightly held flavours of white and yellow stonefruits form a softly concentrated core. This has purity and finesse with a delicate sweetness and richness. The palate follows a fine, firm line with balanced and poised acidity providing crispness and cut to the mouthfeel. Floral, honey and honeysuckle flavours emerge and are carried to a long, lingering finish with a dry-textured line. This is an elegant, tightly held, subtly rich, off-dry Chenin Blanc with stonefruit and honied flavours.
